Real Forms LLC of Springdale has won a judgment of $150,000 against the Arkansas Realtors Association.
Best we can tell, the issue was whether the ARA improperly terminated its five-year software development contract signed with Real Forms. The contract was signed in August 2010 and terminated in March 2011.
In its termination letter, the ARA alleged failure of the software system to adequately secure the confidential data contained in the system.
The verdict was handed down by a jury following a five-day trial in Washington County Circuit Court, with G. Chadd Mason presiding.
Matthew Hudson is the registered agent for Real Forms, and David Edward Hudson also is listed as an officer. Real Forms was represented by The Asa Hutchinson Law Group PLC.
The ARA, which also had a handful of counterclaims dismissed, was represented by Quattlebaum Grooms Tull & Burrow PLLC. The ARA was also ordered to pay court costs and attorney’s fees.
