The Arkansas Women’s Hall of Fame announced the appointment of new officers to its board of directors Thursday.
The new officers, effective Jan. 1, are the following: Stacy Hurst, Tipton & Hurst, chair; Kim Sharpe, CitiScapes Magazine, vice-chair; Steve Owen, Complete Care, Inc., treasurer; and Ashley Hight, North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, secretary.
“These talented individuals bring a wealth of expertise and energy to the board,” Derrell Hartwick, president and CEO of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, which manages the program, said in a press release. “We are excited to work alongside them as we continue to expand our reach and further our impact.”
In addition to the appointments, the Arkansas Women’s Hall of Fame expressed its gratitude to outgoing board chair, Suzanne Clark.
After two years of service, Clark will be stepping down as board chair, but will continue to remain involved with the organization as a board member.
The release stated that under her leadership, the Arkansas Women’s Hall of Fame experienced significant growth and made strides toward showcasing women for their achievements.
“On behalf of the entire board and staff, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Suzanne Clark for her exceptional leadership and tireless commitment to our mission,” Hartwick said in the release. “Her vision, guidance and passion for Arkansas women have been invaluable to our organization. We are deeply grateful for her unwavering dedication.”
