Billboards positioned above some of the busiest roadways in Arkansas have been unveiled featuring Gus Malzahn and the Arkansas State Red Wolves. It is another facet of an aggressive media and marketing push by ASU as Malzahn begins his first season as coach.
The Red Wolves’ 2012 football schedule features three games that will be telecast on ESPN. ASU will begin its season Sept. 1 at Oregon.
Also making a name for State is former linebacker Demario Davis, who was the top performer among linebackers at the NFL Combine in four of the seven skills tested.
And Arkansas will host another Junior Day on Saturday with around 25 prospects scheduled to be on campus. North Little Rock running back Altee Tenpenny is among the top running back prospects attending although he has already committed to Alabama.
