Former Arkansas Razorback and USC Trojan quarterback Mitch Mustain has signed a contract with the Chicago White Sox and will report to the team’s Arizona training camp in March.
Another former Razorback trying to show some verstaility in the professional sports world is Jake Bequette. After playing most of his college career as a defensive end, Bequette, who is training in California, said teams are interested in seeing how he could fit into a 3-4 defensive system as an outside linebacker.
Arkansas forward Michael Sanchez is doubtful for Saturday’s game against South Carolina. Sanchez, a 6-8 senior, is rehabbing a sprained shoulder. He injured it during the Razorbacks’ loss to Georgia on Wednesday.
