- Arkansas State football coach Gus Malzahn told a Birmingham radio show this morning that running back Michael Dyer will likely have to sit out the 2012 season after transferring to the Red Wolves from Auburn. No official word from the university has been given.
- Arkansas lost 10-7 on Sunday to South Carolina at Baum Stadium and dropped the series to fall further behind the SEC’s elite this season. Considering the Razorbacks finished the weekend with 39 hits and 20 runs over three games, they actually felt better about the offense than they have in weeks.
- And Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson hopes to free up some time this summer to attend the Manning Passing Academy, an annual clinic for quarterbacks put on by Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning.
