- Petrino only worked two seasons with Illinois wide receiver A.J. Jenkins. Apparently that was enough to help Jenkins develop as a draft prospect. Jenkins, who went No. 30 overall to the San Francisco 49ers, made Petrino one of the first people he thanked in a chat with media.
- Locations are official for all games now that the school has formally announced the Razorbacks will face Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. As expected the schools will play on campus in 2012 and 2013 with the possibility of returning to Cowboys Stadium in 2014.

- A trio of Springdale Har-Ber Class of 2014 recruits attended Arkansas’ spring game. Defensive tackle Josh Frazier (6-3, 300 pounds) defensive end Jake Hall (6-5, 245 pounds) and linebacker Brock Dassero (6-2, 225 pounds) are three key figures for the Wildcats the next two seasons.
