- Arkansas-Pine Bluff and nine other schools are ineligible to play in next season’s NCAA tournament after scoring too low on their Academic Progress Reports. Each of the schools fell below the mandated cutline of 900 on their four-year scores. The APR measures the classroom performance of every Division I team. This year’s data calculates rates from 2007-08 through 2010-11.
- UALR was at the other end of the APR spectrum. Every sport at UALR was above the 925 Academic Progress Rate benchmark set by the NCAA, including a perfect score of 1,000 posted by the women’s golf team.
