Armor Bank CEO Chad May on Wednesday announced that Bryan Wagner has been named Jonesboro market president.
Wagner, a Blytheville native, brings more than 15 years of banking experience to the job, Armor Bank said in a news release. His career has spanned business development, commercial lending and agriculture lending. Most recently, Wagner served as Armor Bank’s senior vice president for commercial lending.
“Bryan is a natural leader, has a deep knowledge of banking in Northeast Arkansas, is loved by his teammates, and respected in the community,” May said in the release. “We couldn’t be more pleased to watch him shine in this new capacity.”
Wagner earned a bachelor’s in business administration with an emphasis in real estate and finance at the University of Arkansas. He was a member of the Razorback golf team and played the sport professionally for nine years.
Wagner has served more than 25 years on the board of the St. Bernard’s Advocates and chaired the Triple Swing event. He also served on the board of directors of the Jonesboro Country Club.
Armor Bank had $466 million in assets as of Dec. 31. The bank is set to open a second location in Little Rock in May. The branch on Chenal Parkway will be Armor Bank’s 12th in Arkansas.
