Arvest Bank Breaks Ground on Chenal Parkway Branch

1 min read

Arvest Bank on Wednesday started construction on its new branch in Little Rock, which executives said will be its largest bank facility in central Arkansas.

The two-story branch, at 17421 Chenal Parkway, will surpass in size the square footage it occupies in its four-story building at 500 Broadway St. downtown.

“We want to ensure we are able to provide the best service in every sector of the city and this new branch on Chenal Parkway will further cement our presence in the city’s western reaches,” said Ron Witherspoon, Arvest’s Little Rock region president. “We look forward to not just meeting our new neighbors when the branch opens in the fall of 2024 but to being active members of the community around us.”

The 24,000-SF branch will house commercial lending, wealth management, private banking, business banking and other services. It will have four drive-through lanes.

It was designed by Hight Jackson Associates of Rogers. Nabholz Construction of Conway is the general contractor. That company pulled a $10 million building permit on the project, Arkansas Business reported last month.

The branch will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The branch will also include an ATM with Live Teller, which allows customers to conduct financial transactions with Arvest tellers via video.

Arvest Bank of Fayetteville posted assets of $27.3 billion as of June 30. It is in more than 110 communities in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.
