Arvest Promotes to Kelly Carlson to Loan Manager for Benton County (Movers & Shakers)

Kelly Carlson has been promoted to loan manager for the Benton County region at Arvest Bank of Fayetteville. He will replace Mark Ryan, who is retiring after 31 years with the bank. Carlson previously served as the commercial loan manager for Arvest in Benton County. He has 15 years of experience in the banking industry.

Dennis Curtis Jr. and Kelley Curtis Dunlap of the Curtis Team at Stifel Nicolaus & Co. Inc. of St. Louis have been named to Forbes’ 2024 Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams list.


Felek Abbas (Southwest Power Pool)

Felek Abbas has been selected as vice president and chief security officer at Southwest Power Pool of Little Rock. In this new position, Abbas will work to safeguard SPP’s vital role in grid operations and protect SPP’s data and personnel. He previously was senior manager of cybersecurity for power and utilities at the Ernst & Young accounting firm.


Tilden Fulmer (Conway Corp.)

Tilden Fulmer has retired after 44 years at Conway Corp. He had served as chief wastewater plant operator at the utility company since 1998.


Charles McGehee has been named vice president of the Arkansas chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy. He is the Arkansas senior manager of Regional Distribution Operations for the Southwest region at Entergy.
