Arvest Bank has named Michael Stewart to the board of directors for Arvest Bank in Springdale.
Stewart is the chief operating officer and administrator of Northwest Arkansas Medical Center. He joined Northwest Arkansas Medical Center in 2011 and has overseen a $12 million emergency room expansion slated to open later in 2013.
“We are very excited to welcome Michael Stewart to our board at Arvest Bank,” said Lisa Ray, president and chief executive officer of Arvest Bank in Springdale. “His strategic thinking and excellent communication skills will be a great addition to our board.
“He has quickly become involved in the community and, under his leadership, Northwest Medical Center – Springdale has supported important initiatives that will improve the quality of life in our community.”
Arvest Bank has a network of 16 locally managed banks and 240 branches in four states. Each local bank has its own board of directors.
