Colonel Glenn Associates LLC, an affiliate of Americas Realty in Pikesville, Maryland, purchased the Asher Shopping Center at 6420 Col. Glenn Road. The seller is the Doyle Rogers Family Ltd., led by Doyle Rogers Jr.
The deal is financed with a five-year loan of $3.5 million from Arvest Bank of Fayetteville.
The 11.32-acre property was acquired for $447,000 in December 1974 from Broadmoor Builders Inc., led by E.L. Fausett; Farris & Co., led by Jack Farris; and Eddy and Rose Weintraub.
Dollar Deal
A Dollar General Store in southwest Little Rock weighed in at $1.31 million.
Gary Fultheim and Judith Brown of Long Beach, California, bought the 9,100-SF project at 5023 Baseline Road from PB General Holdings (Baseline) LLC, led by Leonard Boen.
The 0.9-acre location was purchased for $252,000 in May 2011 from the namesake revocable trust of John and Edna Mattingly.
Tax-Deferred Exchange
A parking lot in downtown Little Rock changed hands in a swap valued at $725,000.
Louisiana & Third Properties LLC, led by Sam Alley, traded for the 0.32-acre property at the northwest corner of Third and Louisiana streets. The sellers were Susan Rightsell Rice, Peyton Rice Jr., Marvin Thaxton Jr., Rebecca T. Henderson and Gail T. Fogleman. The Rightsell family’s stake in the property dates back more than a century.
In exchange for the parking lot, the group received the 7,400-SF Parker Building at 4 Country Club Circle in Maumelle.
Louisiana & Third Properties acquired the office building for $725,000 from NWA Arkansas LLC, led by Johnelle Hunt.
The limited liability company entered the picture in May 2016 after a related entity took ownership of the 0.82-acre development after landing a $14.7 million judgment against OneFinancial Corp., the parent company of Little Rock’s One Bank & Trust.
Farm Acreage
About 413 acres in southeast Pulaski County are under new ownership after a $500,000 deal.
Horizon Capital Partners LLLP, led by Ross Whipple, purchased the agri land near the Arkansas River between Wrightsville and Woodson from Pamela Wilkins.
Assembly of the land began in June 2002 with a $68,000 buy from Timber Resources of Mississippi Inc., led by Glenn Miller.
The rest of the land was acquired in three July 2002 deals with Charles Walderns Jr. and his wife, Marilyn, $214,000; Sherman and Jean Walderns, $138,000; Glenn and Dewana May, Nedra Hopper, William and Dewana Hibbard, Thomas Hughes Jr. and his wife Deborah, and Michael and Nedra Anderson, $137,000.
Country Club Manor
A 5,065-SF home on the edge of the Country Club of Little Rock sold for $2.17 million.
The LB & RV Family Revocable Trust, led by Laura and Robert Vogel Jr., bought the house from Jameel Brown and Kristen Addis.
The residence previously was tied to a January 2016 mortgage of $1.1 million from U.S. Bank of Cincinnati.
The property was purchased for $614,000 in July 2014 from the Mary B. Boellner Living Trust.

Richard Lowenthal and Lynette Latta purchased the house from Rhonda Wenberg. The deal is backed with a 15-year loan of $453,110 from Wells Fargo Bank of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The residence previously was tied to an April 2003 mortgage of $600,000 or-iginated by One Bank & Trust.
The property was acquired for $845,000 in February 2002 from Gene Graves.
Chimney Rock
A 4,581-SF home in North Little Rock’s Chimney Rock neighborhood changed hands after a $540,000 deal.
Spencer and Jennifer Ragsdale bought the house from Bradley Medlock.
