AT&T on Tuesday announced it had job openings for more than 50 positions in Arkansas.
According to a news release, the openings are available immediately and include more than 30 new positions.
They include retail store positions, technicians to install U-verse service, sales consultants and customer service for call centers.
“AT&T continues to expand its customer base in Arkansas and invest in our network to ensure we are providing the high level of service customers have come to expect,” Ed Drilling, AT&T’s state president in Arkansas, said in the release. “As part of our commitment to this level of customer service and to support our growth in Arkansas, we are pleased to have the opportunity to welcome more than 50 Arkansas residents to the AT&T family.”
The company has hired about 430 Arkansans this year and employs around 2,400 total in the state, the release noted. It spent about $280 million in employee training in 2012.
