Did you know an attorney who represented Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in several lawsuits now has a new firm?
Marshall S. Ney, who had been with the Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard PLLC firm of Little Rock off and on for about 20 years, started working at the Roger’s office of Friday Eldredge & Clark LLP in December.
Ney will be of counsel for Friday and will continue to handle business disputes and litigation.
Wal-Mart is a client of Mitchell Williams, and Ney was one of many lawyers who worked for the retailer.
He said he decided to leave Mitchell Williams because “Friday Eldredge & Clark is a firm that people in Arkansas know extremely well, and I feel like it’s a very good fit for them and me.”
As of June, Friday had the most attorneys in the state with 84. But Mitchell Williams was second with 80.
