BancorpSouth Gets 2 Cathedral School Buildings in Foreclosure Sale

1 min read

Two pieces of The Cathedral School in downtown Little Rock are under new ownership after tandem foreclosure sales totaling $230,750.

BancorpSouth Bank of Tupelo, Miss., recovered the 2,778-SF house at 1619 Broadway and the adjoining 5,300-SF house at 1623 Broadway from the now-defunct private elementary school.

The buildings were used in connection with the school’s art, theater and music programs as well as for office space and storage.

You might recall that the vestry of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral voted to close the 54-year-old school in May after enduring financial trials and tribulation.
