Baptist Health Foundation Names Lena Moore Chief Development Officer

1 min read

The Baptist Health Foundation announced Monday that Lena Moore, formerly of the Clinton Foundation, had been named its new chief development officer.

Moore, a member of Arkansas Business’ 2006 40 Under 40 class, has been deputy executive director and development manager of the Clinton Foundation, where she has worked since 2003.

She started work at Baptist Health Foundation on Dec. 2.

Moore takes over a post previously held by Reanetta Hunt, who was fired May 21 after only 90 days on the job. Hired at a salary of $185,000, Hunt has since sued the foundation in Pulaski County Circuit Court for wrongful termination.

Moore has led Clinton Presidential Center’s fundraising efforts since 2016. According to the Baptist Health Foundation, the Clinton Center exceeded fundraising goals by “double-digit percentages” in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Moore also oversaw the Clinton Center’s communications department.

Originally from Malvern native, she received a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. She began her career as a customer service representative for Alltel Corp. in Little Rock, then took a local sales job with Ryerson Tull Metals of Chicago before she was lured away by the Clinton Center.
