Baptist Health, the state’s largest hospital system, on Friday named Brent Beaulieu as its senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Beaulieu replaced Bob Roberts, who retired as the health system’s CFO on Jan. 18.

Beaulieu joined Baptist Health in 2007 as assistant vice president of finance and was promoted to vice president of finance in 2008.

“Brent has been a tremendous asset to Baptist Health in various finance-related positions during his more than 10 years within our system,” Troy Wells, president and CEO of Baptist Health, said in a news release. “His knowledge and expertise will prove even more valuable in his new role leading those operations.”

Beaulieu has spent 21 years in health care industry. He received a degree in accounting from Harding University in Searcy.

The nonprofit Baptist Health operates 11 hospitals and has about 11,000 employees.
