Randy Barnhill has been promoted to national director of SmartData Dashboard in Mountain Home. Barnhill was previously SmartData’s Arkansas director.
Sheerah Davis has been appointed to the board of directors of Workmatters in Rogers. Davis is the chief people officer at Dentsu Sports International.
Kelley Houston Jones, assistant professor of history at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, has won the 2022 John William Graves Book Award from the Arkansas Historical Association.
Jones won the award for her book “A Weary Land: Slavery on the Ground in Arkansas.”
Shanna Parker has been hired as director of the child care connections program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Parker is responsible for enrolling eligible students in a program that provides federal child care funding for low-income students, assisting students with finding resources to meet their child care needs and making student referrals for resources across campus.
William “Hud” Jackson has been named the director of athletics at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Jackson has served as interim director of athletics since July 2021 and head football coach since 2011.
Aaron Schenk has been hired as breath alcohol testing program instructor at Black River Technical College’s Law Enforcement Academy in Pocahontas.
He previously worked for the Paragould Police Department.
