2 min read

Be Pro Be Proud, a workforce development initiative led by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Arkansas, has announced the expansion of its leadership team to include Miranda Allen, Maggie Culp and Diana Long.

Allen will serve as business development manager for the initiative. She previously worked for Union Pacific of Omaha, Nebraska, and Lexicon, Inc. of Little Rock.

As Be Pro Be Proud’s new marketing manager, Culp will create content, help coordinate events and assist in other marketing efforts. Culp is a graduate of Arkansas State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication.

Long will be the new special events manager for Be Pro Be Proud. She will organize all events, including the 2025 Draft Day Series, which will provide students across the state with career exploration and interview opportunities next spring. Long was previously the director of River Market operations for the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau for more than a decade.

Additionally, Brittany Dement will take on the role of state director for Be Pro Be Proud Alabama. Dement has managed political campaigns and worked for both the Alabama Community College System and Fort Moore Army Base. She most recently served as an event coordinator for Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.

“We are thrilled to welcome these four professionals to the team,” Andrew Parker, executive director for Be Pro Be Proud, said in a news release. “Their expertise and commitment to building the nation’s workforce will make a lasting impact on the initiative and what we’re trying to accomplish.”
