Regular readers may recall Whispers telling you back in August about plans by representatives of the Beignets & Brews chain to bring 30 stores to Arkansas and Memphis.
The first one in Little Rock opened in September at 1510 Rebsamen Park Road.
Well, now we have news that Jonesboro will get its first Beignets & Brews on May 1, or thereabouts, at 1853 E. Highland Drive.
That’s the word from Chris Kramolis, who with his partners, brothers Jason and Chris Alley, have the development rights for Arkansas and Memphis. The chain, based in Destin, Florida, is known for New Orleans-style beignets and specialty coffees.
The Jonesboro location will be locally owned and operated by franchise partners Cody and Kristen McPherson, Kramolis said.
McPherson also owns several other franchises in the area, including Potbelly, Crumbl and Rock N’ Roll Sushi, “bringing a strong foundation of hospitality and leadership to the Beignets & Brews family,” the chain said. “This local expertise is a key part of the brand’s expansion strategy in the region.”
