Bentley Story has been named director of business development at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
Grant Tennille, AEDC’s executive director, announced the appointment on Tuesday.
Story joined AEDC’s business development division as a project manager in 2007. He’s been responsible for sectors including telecommunications, sustainable agriculture, power electronics, data centers and technical support centers.
Story managed projects such as Hewlett-Packard’s location to Conway and Dillard’s online fulfillment center in Maumelle.
Story replaces Joe Bailey, who recently took a post with Entergy.
