Bentonville Chamber Picks Ashley Wardlow to be Interim Leader

1 min read

The Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce has named Ashley Wardlow interim president and CEO.

Wardlow joined the group in 2020 as executive director of the Northwest Arkansas Tech Summit. She takes over for Graham Cobb, who stepped down at the end of 2021 after leading the chamber for four years. Cobb said he left to focus on “future endeavors that will help the state of Arkansas be the best it can be for business.”

Board chair Monica Kumar said Wardlow has shown “incredible strategic vision and thoughtful professionalism” during her time with the group.

“I have been thoroughly impressed with her work ethic and commitment to the success of the Chamber, both prior to this transition and through it,” Kumar said in a news release. “We are very lucky that she was excited to take on the interim role, not only because her experience with the Chamber allows her to continue the work seamlessly, but also because her teammates have the highest regard for her and her leadership.”

Wardlow was previously a development officer at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, where she developed and implemented the museum’s inaugural corporate engagement strategy. She also cultivated philanthropic relationships in the region, as well as in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Before working at Crystal Bridges, Wardlow was the resource development director for United Way of Northwest Arkansas.
