2 min read

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs has served southwest Arkansas since it was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1888.

CITY: Hot Springs
INDUSTRY: Health Care

It has grown into an integrated health system that includes a 72-acre medical campus, more than 28 clinic locations, more than 100 physicians and 44 Advanced Practice Providers in the Hot Springs region. It features the only Level II trauma center in the area, a robotic surgery program and centers of excellence dedicated to heart and vascular services, cancer, diabetes, orthopedics, women’s service and wound care.

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs believes in caring for the entire person; physically, socially and spiritually. Believing that health care is a basic human right, the system provides care to anyone in need, regardless of their ability to pay.

The leadership team prepares and serves breakfast pancakes and omelets for night shift workers from 10 p.m.-midnight.

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is dedicated to being a great place to work, practice medicine and receive excellent and compassionate care.

The system extends that care to the employees through open leadership communication and the opportunity for advancement and coworker scholarship and tuition assistance programs.

Fun and camaraderie are promoted through employee sponsored events such as chili cook-offs, co-worker appreciation luncheons and Christmas parties.

Heritage Week festivities include snacks, prizes and gifts as well as recognition initiatives that include Service Hero Awards and Co-worker appreciation/Heritage Week celebrations and awards.

CHI St. Vincent has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic with remote work, free meals daily during the initial crisis, benefit and health care assistance initiatives and vacation arrears for those who lost their time to the pandemic.

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is a member of the Arkansas Children’s Nursery Alliance.
