Bill Edwards, who joined IberiaBank Mortgage Co. last year, will become its president and CEO when Chuck Quick retires in July.
“As the mortgage industry continues to experience change, we believe Bill will do a great job steering the mortgage company and taking advantage of new opportunities ahead,” Daryl G. Byrd, resident and CEO of IberiaBank Corp., said in a press release. “The continued success of our mortgage company is largely due to our exceptional and dedicated mortgage leadership team, including David Bryles, Chief Operating Officer, and Mike Powell, Chief Operations Officer.”
Edwards is a 20-year veteran of the mortgage industry, including 10 years as president of BancorpSouth’s mortgage banking division. He served a three-year term on the Fannie Mae Eastern Customer Advisory Board and is a former member of the Arkansas Mortgage Bankers board of directors. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he majored in finance and banking.
Edwards joined IberiaBank Mortgage Co. of Little Rock, a subsidiary of IberiaBank Corp. of Lafayette, La., in March 2013 as mortgage production manager.
