BioTech Pharmacal Inc. of Fayetteville is meeting with architects about designs for a new 30,000-SF manufacturing building at the company’s Highway 112 location.
BioTech got zoning clearance for the new building from the city. BioTech currently has a 7,500-SF facility on the company’s 33-acre site.
“We’re running out of room,” said Mark Leason, BioTech’s facility manager.
Leason said the company is awaiting design plans from three architects and won’t have a specific budget decided until a design is selected. Leason said BioTech hopes to have a design chosen in the next month to 45 days.
Leason said the company hopes to have the facility up and running within 12 to 18 months.
