Blair Parnell has been promoted to Fort Smith president of the BancorpSouth bank of Tupelo, Mississippi. Parnell will handle all banking operations in Sebastian and Crawford counties.
“The Fort Smith team is focused on building customer relationships by providing outstanding service. We look forward to enhancing that through Blair’s leadership,” BancorpSouth Region President Ty Warren said.
Previously an executive vice president and senior leader, Parnell has been with BancorpSouth for 22 years. Parnell earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and graduated from the School of Banking of the South and the American Bankers Association National Commercial Lending School.
Jason Ray has been hired as commercial loan officer II and vice president of Farmers Bank & Trust in Magnolia. Ray was previously a manager for Carter Federal Credit Union.
Brad Hudgens of Hot Springs has been named to Forbes magazine’s inaugural list of America’s Best-in-State Wealth Advisors. Hudgens is a senior vice president and financial adviser for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.
