Radio sports personality Bo Mattingly is back on the air in Little Rock and has switched stations in northwest Arkansas.
Mattingly recently began appearing on KASR-FM, 92.7, in central Arkansas, which was also added to the list of affiliates on his website. Calls to the station have not been returned in recent weeks.
You might recall that Mattingly’s show was previously aired on Larry Crain’s KKSP-FM, 93.3, before a contract dispute scuttled the partnership. Crain settled the lawsuit filed by Mattingly over the contract and put his Little Rock stations up for sale.
In northwest Arkansas, Mattingly’s show is now airing on ESPN 99.5 and ESPN 1290 AM.
Jay Bunyard, the president and CEO of Hog Radio Inc., which owns the stations, said the deal with Mattingly was finalized in mid-June and that the show was on air by the end of the month. Mattingly’s show previously aired on the Cumulus Media-owned KQSM-FM, 92.1, in the northwest part of the state.
