Bo Mattingly Honored as 2012 Arkansas Sportscaster of the Year

1 min read

The National Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association this month named Bo Mattingly its 2012 Arkansas Sportscaster of the Year.

Mattingly’s radio show, “Sports Talk With Bo Mattingly,” airs weekdays on KKSP-FM, 93.3, in central Arkansas.

NSSA members select recipients of annual state and national awards through a voting process. The organization honors a sportscaster and a sportswriter from each state every year for the state awards.

Crain Media of Sherwood and New Lion Media Group of Fayetteville together own Capital City Broadcasting, owner of KKSP. New Lion, which bought into Capital City last August, is an ad agency that works with media personalities, such as Mattingly, to sell their content.
