Brian Emison Named Senior VP of Operations at FNBC of Ash Flat (Movers & Shakers)

Brian Emison has joined FNBC of Ash Flat as senior vice president of operations and chief deposit officer. He fills the newly created position to oversee operations and lead the growth of the bank’s deposit portfolio. He has also joined the bank’s senior management team.


Kim Guinn

Kim Guinn has been promoted to vice president, branch operations at the Rogers branch of First Community Bank of Batesville. Guinn will oversee all operations at the branch and work with senior management.

Elise Hunter has been promoted to vice president, deposit operations at Armor Bank of Forrest City. In her new role, Hunter will support all of the bank’s locations in their customer service. Angela Turpen has been hired as the Forrest City branch manager at Armor Bank. Turpen has been in banking for two decades and will oversee the branch’s day-to-day operations.


Maggie Junior

Maggie Junior has been promoted to director of adviser solutions and training at Sowell Management of Little Rock. Junior will work in the adviser solutions department, where she has already developed a training platform for internal team members and advisers.


Joe Mowery has been named head of the investment banking dealership practice at Stephens Inc. of Little Rock. Mowery has served as head of the department’s power and industrial technology group for the past 20 years. He will now oversee the firm’s deals in auto, truck, recreational vehicle, boat, agriculture and equipment dealerships, as well as vehicle auctions and other related products and technologies.


Perry Carpenter (Forge Institute)

Perry Carpenter has been named to the advisory board of the Forge Institute of Little Rock. Carpenter is the chief evangelist and strategy officer at KnowBe4 of Clearwater, Florida. He will work with the Forge Institute on developing cyber knowledge and security.
