Bubbus Behind Mabelvale Project Facing I-30Lock Icon

1 min read

Travelers along Interstate 30 on the south side of Little Rock may have noticed early signs of site work on a 4.2-acre parcel at the southeast corner of the interstate and Mabelvale West Road.

The property is expected to host a summer opening of a 12,670-SF commercial project put in motion by David Alan Bubbus, the man behind David’s Burgers.

The project will facilitate the relocation of a nearby David’s Burgers from across the interstate at 6 Bass Pro Drive.

At the new location, the restaurant will do business in a 3,470-SF slot with the balance of the space leased to others. The new spot also will accommodate enhanced drive-through business.

Bubbus has a similar David’s Burgers-anchored project in motion in Hot Springs at the southwest corner of Central Avenue and Section Line Road. It, too, is expected to open this summer.

“We’re really thankful to be on the move at this time,” Bubbus said. “These little centers in great locations are really working out for us.”
