Burlington Store Coming to Alcoa Crossings Shopping Center

1 min read

Burlington Stores Inc. has signed a lease at Alcoa Crossings Shopping Center in Saline County.

The company’s 30,000-SF store there will occupy the former Best Buy space that fronts I-30. Other retailers at the center include Target, Kohl’s, Petco, Five Belowa and Orange Theory Fitness.

Construction is underway, and Burlington plans to open for the 2019 holiday season.

Formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, Burlington is a national off-price department store retailer headquartered in Burlington Township, New Jersey. The company operates two other stores in the metro Little Rock area: one at Markham Square in Little Rock and the other at McCain Plaza in North Little Rock.

Lee Strother and Cole Herget of Colliers International Arkansas represented the landlord, Hall Equities Group of Walnut Creek, California, in the transaction.

“We are pleased to have so quickly replaced an anchor tenant with a quality national retailer that will enhance the overall retail synergy and shopping experience at Alcoa Crossings Shopping Center,” Nick Zankich, director of leasing for Hall Equities Group, said in a news release. “We believe one of the primary reasons we secured this deal is the prominent location of our center within the market.”
