Buyers Secure Southwestern Bell Building in $1.8M Deal

Did you hear about a 10-story office building selling in downtown Little Rock?

Texas investors bought the 370,556-SF Southwestern Bell Building at 1111 W. Capitol Ave. for $1.8 million.

Valk Properties Two LLC of Rockwall purchased the 45-year-old building and its adjoining 134-slot parking lot from its namesake owner: Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., a subsidiary of Dallas-based AT&T Inc.

For now, the building will be leased to AT&T during 2019.

“We’re still exploring our options,” an insider reports. “We’ve got architects and others looking at the building. We don’t have any hard and fast plans for the building.

“It could be mixed-use or remain simply office. We’ll let the market tell us.”
