CACA Will Present Awards to Lisenne Rockefeller, Garrett Lewis

Lisenne Rockefeller, left, and Garrett Lewis will be honored on Sept. 6 at the Children's Advocacy Centers of Arkansas' annual dinner. 

Children’s Advocacy Centers of Arkansas will honor Lisenne Rockefeller as the 2017 Arkansas Woman of Inspiration at its annual dinner on Sept. 6 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.

The nonprofit will also present the Blue Ribbon Award to Garrett Lewis, chief meteorologist of KFSM 5NEWS in northwest Arkansas. The award is given each year to an adult who has been affected by the trauma of abuse and is helping bring awareness to the problem of child abuse and neglect.

Anne Preston and Alisha Curtis will chair the event. Arkansas First Lady Susan Hutchinson, a previous Arkansas Woman of Inspiration honoree, is the honorary event chair. 

Proceeds will be used to support CACA in implementing more centers to serve abused and neglected children.
