Caddo Valley Gets Branch of Foodbank

A dedication ceremony held April 24 officially opened the new Caddo Valley (Clark County) branch of the Arkansas Foodbank.

Located at 201 Valley Road, the 10,000-SF warehouse will serve food pantries and other hunger relief agencies in Montgomery, Garland, Clark, Hot Springs and northern Dallas counties.

Chief Program Officer Dianne Williams said the branch opening was another step in increasing aid to hungry Arkansans.

In addition to the Caddo Valley branch, one was established in Warren in 2010. The Foodbank’s main warehouse is at 4301 W. 65th St. in Little Rock.

The Foodbank serves 33 Arkansas counties and last year distributed more than 14 million pounds of food to hunger agencies.
