CALS’ Butler Center to Launch Music Festival in September

LITTLE ROCK — The Butler Center for Arkansas Studies is preparing to put on a music festival in late September that will feature Arkansas musicians and songwriters.

The center announced Thursday that the festival will take place Sept. 28 and 29.

The festival will endeavor to place musicians and songwriters in schools for songwriting workshops for children and adults. Events are to take place across the state.

The Butler Center is a department of the Central Arkansas Library System.
