CARTI Expands With $7.75M Little Rock PurchaseLock Icon

CARTI Inc. is growing again.

The nonprofit cancer treatment provider recently spent $7.75 million to buy the former building that housed the Arvest Mortgage Operations Center at 801 John Barrow Road in Little Rock. That 98,065-SF office building is adjacent to the nonprofit cancer treatment provider’s cancer center.

Built in 1979, the building sold on Jan. 2, and the seller was Arvest Bank Operations Inc. of Lowell, according to Pulaski County property records. Our CARTI reporter tells us that the provider plans to release details soon about what’s to come for the facility.

The purchase is the latest major move for CARTI, which recently completed the second phase of its $19 million cancer center in El Dorado, adding breast care, advanced imaging and radiation oncology services.

CARTI has 18 locations around the state and a cancer-focused surgery center.

More cancer treatment facilities are welcomed in Arkansas. The state was expected to see the largest percentage increase in new cancer diagnoses among all the 50 states, compared with numbers from 2021, according to Becker’s Hospital Review.
