CARTI announced that its 47th annual Festival of Trees event raised a record $830,000.
The event supports CARTI’s Patient Assistance Program, which offers comprehensive support services to reduce potential barriers to treatment.
“Thanks to the community’s unwavering support, we not only met but surpassed our goal to ‘Ignite Hope’ for Arkansas cancer patients and their families this holiday season,” Adam Head, CARTI’s president and CEO, said in a news release. “At more than $10 million raised and counting, Festival of Trees is critical to fulfilling our mission to make trusted cancer care accessible to every patient we serve.”
Festival of Trees includes three nights: the Sugar Plum Ball, a father-daughter dance; Festival of Fashion, a New York Fashion Week-style runway show; and Tux ‘n Trees, a black-tie gala.
All proceeds benefit the Patient Assistance Program.
