DeWitt Hospital & Nursing Home is looking for a new CEO.
As you may know, its previous CEO, Darren Caldwell, in August began working for Unity Health of Searcy, where he is its vice president for the Harris Medical Center campus in Newport.
Larry Morse was named interim CEO at the 25-bed hospital.
Morse said he spent his first three months on the job “getting my feet on the ground.”
He said he’s spreading the word about the opening.
But he said it is difficult trying to recruit a CEO and other health care workers to small communities. DeWitt is a city of about 3,300 people.
Still, he said he hopes to have a CEO in place within two months. The salary is negotiable.
The hospital reported net patient revenue of $9.6 million and a loss of $283,584 for 2014.
