Chapel Ridge Purchase Tops $8.2 Million Mark (Real Deals)Lock Icon

A 172-unit apartment complex in North Little Rock tipped the scales at $8.27 million.

North Little Rock Investors LLC, an affiliate of Wilhoit Properties Inc. of Springfield, Missouri, bought Chapel Ridge Apartments at 5900 McCain Place.

The seller is North Little Rock Housing Associates Ltd., an affiliate of Aiden Torch Financial LLC of Denver. The deal is backed with a 10-year loan of $6.6 million from SunTrust Bank of Atlanta.

The 17.08-acre site was purchased for $625,000 in December 2003 from McCain-Hwy. 161 LLC, led by Byron McKimmey.

Popeyes Land
A Popeyes restaurant site in North Little Rock changed hands in a $550,000 transaction.

Sweet “P” Investors Inc., led by Donald Gililland, acquired a 1.58-acre site near the northwest corner of Maumelle Boulevard and Paul Eells Drive. The seller is WNLR Investments LLC, led by Andy Collins.

The land is associated with a $2.3 million buy in September 2006 from David and Rose Wells, Claude Wells Jr. and his wife, Sally, and Stephen Wells.

Stribling Property
A commercial site in southwest Little Rock rang up a $523,917 sale.

Stribling Equipment LLC of Richland, Mississippi, purchased 4 acres at the southwest corner of Baseline Road and Mabelvale Pike from Robert and Theresa King.

The King family has owned the property since acquiring it in July 1953 from Emmett Oliver for an undisclosed sum.

Convenient Location
A Big Red convenience store project is trailing a $458,000 land deal in North Little Rock.

AF Partners LLC, led by Doug Hendrix, bought the 1.5-acre site at the northeast corner of Counts Massie Road and Paul Eells Drive. The seller is Burkhalter Commercial Group LLC, led by John Burkhalter.

The land was purchased in March 2007 as part of a $1.96 million deal with John and Mary Hearnes.

Warehouse Pair
Adjoining warehouses in Little Rock sold for $389,000.

Ben Davis Properties Management LLC acquired the 4,000-SF warehouse at 2011 Dugan Drive and the 12,500-SF warehouse at 3010 Dugan Drive from the namesake revocable living trust of Ronny and Judith Brown.

The combined 1.37-acre development was assembled in two transactions with Robert Franklin and Verne and Barbara Buchanan, $110,000 in September 1992; and Robert Federowski, $70,000 in February 2016.

Multifamily Sale
A six-unit apartment project in the Hillcrest area of Little Rock drew a $315,000 transaction.

C.A.M. AR LLC, led by Cody and Anna McGrath, purchased the 710 Beechwood St. project.

The seller is Beechwood Properties LLC, led by Ronald Clayton, Sharon Clayton and Herbert Littleton.

The 0.17-acre development previously was tied to a November 2011 mortgage of $210,000 held by Simmons Bank of Pine Bluff.

The project was acquired for $265,000 in January 2006 from Matthew and Louese Holody.

Heights Manor
A 4,280-SF home near the Country Club of Little Rock weighed in at $1.1 million.

Anderson Revocable Trust, led by Overton and Kay Anderson, bought the house from the Rhodes Joint Revocable Trust, led by Martin and Patricia Rhodes.

The deal is financed with a 30-year loan of $1.1 million from Regions Bank of Birmingham, Alabama.

The residence previously was linked with a May 2013 mortgage of $403,600 held by Arvest Bank of Fayetteville.

The property was purchased for $1.03 million in May 2010 from Ben McMinn and Betty Turner.

Piedmont Dwelling
A 3,212-SF home in west Little Rock’s Piedmont neighborhood is under new ownership after a $699,900 sale.

Herbert and Kim Hahn acquired the house from the Alexander Revocable Trust, led by Faye Alexander.

The deal is funded with a 30-year loan of $419,940 from Simmons Bank.

The revocable trust bought the residence for $679,000 in January 2017/ The sellers were Rich Cosgrove and Nancy Green.

Residential Acquisition
A 1.7-acre residential property in west Little Rock changed hands in a $610,000 deal.

Bobby Wilkerson Revocable Trust purchased the land and 1,902-SF house at 17007 Cantrell Road.

The seller is the namesake joint revocable trust of Raymond and Mary Sue Ramsey.

The Ramseys acquired the property for $29,000 in June 1971 from Mary Cody.

Ensbury Abode
A 3,502-SF home in the Ensbury Place neighborhood of west Little Rock’s Chenal Valley neighborhood rang up a $543,200 sale.

Richard and Kimberly Downer bought the house from Mike Kuhn Construction Inc. The deal is backed with a 30-year loan of $384,000 from Arvest Bank.

The residence previously was tied to a February 2017 mortgage of $433,600 held by Bank of Little Rock Mortgage Corp.

The site was purchased for $90,000 in December 2016 from Deltic Timber Corp. of El Dorado.

Country Home
A 5,570-SF home on the edge of west Little Rock drew a $520,000 transaction.

Harvey Young Jr. and his wife, Amy, acquired the house from John and Linda DeYmaz.

The deal is financed with a 30-year loan of $315,000 from Telcoe Federal Credit Union of Little Rock.

The residence previously was linked with an October 2013 mortgage of $372,000 from Franklin American Mortgage Co. of Franklin, Tennessee.

The property was bought for $275,000 in April 2004.
