Chase plans to open its seventh location in Little Rock this week.
The 2,800-SF branch at 8821 Geyer Springs Rd. occupies the site of a former 99 Cents Only store.
The bank opened its first branch in Little Rock four years ago. It has since expanded across the river to North Little Rock with the opening of a branch in the Indian Hills neighborhood earlier this year.
“Chase has been enthusiastically received by the Little Rock community. The response has been very strong,” said Ruben Quezada, market director for Chase in Arkansas. “Little Rock is growing, and Chase wants to grow right along with it.”
As part of its local expansion, Chase announced the hiring of its first community manager in Little Rock. Angela Shirey provides financial coaching at no charge, working with community and nonprofit organizations to reduce barriers to greater financial health, the bank said in a news release.
