Most likely you’ve heard that more than the Peabody ducks have left the Peabody Little Rock since the four-star hotel changed hands in February. The hotel was reflagged as the Marriott and lost the marching mallards last week.
Also flying the coop was Executive Chef Andre Poirot. He was replaced Feb. 28 by Chris Stroup, who came to Little Rock from the Renaissance St. Louis Airport, an AAA Four Diamond hotel.
The Peabody’s Capriccio Grill is becoming an Italian restaurant named Pancetta Regional Kitchen & Wine Bar, which will specialize in using Arkansas-grown ingredients.
Mallards Bar is now the Velvet Humidor.
And where has Chef Andre alighted?
Another local hotel — Crowne Plaza Little Rock, 201 S. Shackleford Road.
