Chef Shuttle Beefs Up Its Catering

1 min read

Chef Shuttle just keeps growing.

The company, led by Ryan Herget, recently announced that it has entered into an exclusive partnership with Chick-fil-A to offer delivery throughout central Arkansas.

Now, Herget said, Chef Shuttle is investing heavily in its catering service, adding three dedicated catering managers to its staff of more than 25.

The catering managers will each serve one of the three top catering markets: businesses, pharmaceutical representatives and medical clinics. The heavy use of catering by drug reps and medical clinics was news to us, but they mean big business for caterers.

The drug rep or clinic assistant can just hand over the details to Chef Shuttle, and it will do the rest, all for a delivery fee of $4.95.

Chef Shuttle already gets multiple calls weekly about catering, and so Herget decided to dedicate more resources to the service and make it more visible. For one big client, he said, Chef Shuttle recently provided a wait staff of 20 people in tuxedoes.

“I could see it becoming 30 to 40 percent of our overall business,” he said of the catering service.
