Chef Shuttle, a restaurant delivery service serving the central Arkansas and Memphis areas, will begin serving northwest Arkansas at dinnertime Wednesday.
The company, led by Ryan Herget, president and CEO, has opened a new office at 5500 Pinnacle Point Drive in Rogers and will serve zip codes 72712, 72718, 72756 and 72758 in Rogers and Bentonville.
The expansion will mean Chef Shuttle, established last year, services 16 different cities.
“We have had over a thousand requests from restaurants and customers to expand to northwest Arkansas,” Herget said. “We actually wanted to expand sooner.”
Chef Shuttle allows customers to order food from a list of restaurants on their website and then have that food delivered to their homes and offices. The minimum order is $15 plus a $4.95 delivery cost and they currently average around 500 orders a day in central Arkansas.
So far, the delivery service has confirmed that Mellow Mushroom, On the Border and Boneheads will be restaurant partners in northwest Arkansas. That list will continue to grow and Herget plans to have at least 10 confirmed by Wednesday and add another 10-20 in the next six months.
Herget is also planning to expand the service beyond Rogers and Bentonville down to Fayetteville and further south.
“We definitely are in expansion mode,” Herget said. “Our main focus is adding restaurants, but as a company overall we want to expand in a way that we can keep up with and not expand beyond our means.”
There is potential to move north into Missouri or further east and into Nashville, according to Herget, but the company is currently just looking and evaluating what the next market will be.
