Chris Marsh Acquires Little Rock Affiliate of Capital Sotheby’s

2 min read

Capital Sotheby’s International Realty announced that Chris Marsh has acquired its Little Rock affiliate, succeeding Susan Desselle, who had led the firm for more than 20 years.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Marsh is now CEO of the upscale real estate firm. He joined the company more than five years ago and most recently served as its chief marketing officer and executive broker.

Before joining Capital Sotheby’s, Marsh was director of thinking at Boyette Strategic Advisors of Little Rock, according to his LinkedIn page. Prior to that, he was a business development project manager at Entergy Arkansas.

“I am honored to step into this role and build upon the incredible foundation that Susan has established,” Marsh said in a news release. “Capital Sotheby’s International Realty has always been about more than just real estate; it’s about creating exceptional experiences at every price point and fostering long-lasting relationships — locally and around the world. I look forward to driving our vision forward and continuing to offer unparalleled service to our clients and agents.”

Desselle will remain actively involved with the company as founding broker and global real estate adviser, the release said.

“Chris has been a driving force behind our marketing successes and has demonstrated an exceptional understanding of our clients’ needs through his mastery of the extraordinary tools provided by Sotheby’s International Realty,” Deselle said in the release. “I am thrilled to see him take on this new role and am confident that he will lead Capital Sotheby’s International Realty to new heights.”
