Chris McCoy has been named vice chancellor for finance and administration at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, effective Aug. 2.
McCoy will oversee facilities management, human resources, information technology services, business and administrative strategic information systems, business affairs, financial affairs and the university police department.
McCoy has served as associate vice chancellor for information technology services and chief information officer at UA since 2015 and has worked in higher education for 30 years.
Hailey Canada has been hired as coordinator of student organizations and university events for the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
Canada previously worked as a campus life graduate assistant at Arkansas Tech University, where she graduated with a master’s in college student personnel.
