Christian Pennington
The U.S. Small Business Administration announced that Christian Pennington has joined its office in Little Rock as a lender relations specialist.
Pennington previously served for six years as the a lender relations specialist and public information officer in the SBA’s office in Boise, Idaho. In 2017, he was briefly detailed to the SBA Office of Disaster Assistance as a disaster loan analyst for Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
Before then, Pennington worked at the Louisiana Economic Development Corporation as a loan and investment officer. He worked on various Louisiana state programs to aid financing to small business and lending programs to recruit business to the state.
In his new role, Pennington will conduct training and familiarize potential new and existing banks with SBA loan programs and offerings to ensure small businesses are able to access the money they need to start, grow and expand.
Pennington holds a bachelor’s in finance from the University of New Orleans.
