Chuck Spohn Opens Media & More Consulting in Little Rock

Chuck Spohn, who was general manager of two Little Rock television stations for more than 15 years, has opened his own public relations firm.

Media & More Consulting in Little Rock started in February and has about five clients, Spohn said.

Spohn declined to name the clients, but he’s doing “a variety of work from marketing and branding, some media placement, some consulting,” he said. “So I’ve got a potpourri of folks that I’m working with.”

Spohn was released as general manager at the beginning of the year after Mission Broadcasting of Westlake, Ohio, bought the stations KLRT-TV, Channel 16, and KASN-TV, Channel 38, for $60 million.

Spohn said he always had an entrepreneur spirit and after leaving the TV industry, the opportunity was there for him to start his own agency.
