Did you know Chuy’s is on its way to North Little Rock?
The popular Tex-Mex chain, with 27 locations open and more on the way, will be setting up shop at 5105 Warden Road.
You might recognize that address as the former Saturn dealership operated by Little Rock’s Parker Auto Group.
The facility went the way of the wrecking ball last week to make room for two new projects.
The 9,088-SF eatery on the drawing boards represents Chuy’s No. 32, counting the four restaurants listed as “Coming Soon” by the Austin, Texas, company. The target for opening in North Little Rock is February.
A 10,232-SF office-retail building is planned for the balance of the nearly 3-acre site. We’re told the estimated construction cost for this structure is $1.2 million.
The developer making this two-pronged project happen is Palio Partners of Dallas.
The Parker family sold the future Chuy’s location for $1.14 million (about $15.35 per SF). The proposed office-retail building site at the northwest corner of Warden and Somers Avenue sold for $1.15 million (about $20.45 per SF).
