1 min read

Bill Reznicek has been hired as chief financial officer for the city of Jonesboro, where Tiffny Calloway has been hired as grants administrator.

Reznicek, a certified public accountant with more than 30 years of accounting experience, will lead five departments: finance, grants, information technology, human resources and collections.

Calloway, who spent the past six months at the Delta Regional Authority and the previous 2½ years at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, will oversee the city’s five-person grants department and take on the added responsibility of community development. She replaces Kimberly Marshall, who resigned effective Oct. 13.

David Beasley, retired engineering dean at A-State, recently received the Fellow Award from the Accreditation Board for Engineering & Technology for his dedication and leadership of the Engineering Accreditation Commission and for contributions to accreditation criteria, including general engineering, biological engineering and master’s level programs.
