Mark Raines and Wade McCune of CJRW started 2018 with fireworks, gaining promotions to senior vice president and spots on the board of directors of the Little Rock marketing and communications firm.
CEO and Chairman Darin Gray announced the promotions on Tuesday, noting the “unique and invaluable strategic insight” that he gets from Raines, the agency’s public relations chief, and McCune, its creative director.
“Wade and Mark are well respected professionals in our industry and have earned this advancement,” Gray said in a news release. Raines, who joined CJRW as creative director in May 2014, had a long career in journalism and is a former news director of KTHV, Channel 11, in Little Rock. In the corporate world, he worked in communications for Chesapeake Energy and BHP Billiton Petroleum.
McCune, who worked at the firm for nine years earlier in his career and returned to CJRW from Thoma Thoma in 2016, has more than a quarter-century of experience as a writer, advertising strategist and creative director. McCune is a journalism graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
